Spring Break 2011

This year for spring break we went to a place called, Sand Hollow, near St. George. We also spent a day hiking in Snow Canyon.  It was so much fun and definatly a place we would go again.

Carter loves his boots.  Even if he is wearing shorts and they are on the wrong feet.

Coco on his first vacation.  He had so much fun.  We went for runs, bike rides and played in the water almost everyday.  A dogs DREAM vacation!!

All of us eating dinner.  We went with our friends and neighbors Cori & Nicole and thier three kids and our friends, Shawn & Lorena and their five girls.

Eating dinner around the camp fire, even if there isn't a fire yet....They don't seem to mind.
 Two very cute boys!!
I even got messages in the sand on our hikes!!

 Beautiful, Sweet Caroline.

 Snow Canyon.

We loved the beach at Sand Hollow.  The Sand was so soft and the kids had a blast.
 Coco too!

My Super Girl, playing in the Sand.

Bridger dug a hole so deep he could reach water.

The guys cracked me up.
They would throw out a crazy challenges, to see what they were capable of.
Here are two of them:

1.  Try to get from one side of the rock to the other without falling in the water below.
(I had my camera ready just in case)
Unfortunatly, and I mean that in the nicest way, no one fell in.

Next challenge, Swim in the FREEZING water to the buoy, about a mile away.
Shawn, the swimmer of the group, went first and set the bar.
Cori and Ryan attempted and about FROZE to death, so they bailed.
Then Lorena did it and there was no way Ryan was going to let a girl show him up, so he did it.
I got to my collar bone with my arms straight up in the air and could not bare the thought of putting my arms down, so there was no way I was going to swim, because there was NO question, I would have DROWNED!!
Lol! Ryan thought he was going to Snorkle to the buoy.

April Fools!!

Ryan came home on April Fools Day and sat down beside me on the couch.  I snuggled up to him and took off his hat to give him a kiss and jumped back about 10 feet and screamed.....then cried......then laughed.

This is what I saw........................

Yep!  That right, a very bald man.  And no it is not just for April Fools Day, it will go on for, well as long as it takes to shave the sides off and let it all grow back in.

I do have to give him kudos, I am not sure I could have done it.

Maximus "Greatest"

Ryan gave Max to me the first Christmas after we were married.
Max was the ultimate "Marley and Me" Dog.
We nicknamed him "HOODINI" because he could escape any tie, lock, fence or pen.
We had to bail him out from the pound more than our share of times.

Just recently we recieved a call from the A.F. rec center to come and get Max
because he had decided to go to swim lessons.
Max loved to play.  We could put sticks in the tree and he would climb the tree to fetch them
He loved fetching sticks from the lake too.  When he would get tired of swimming out to get the stick he would try and hide it somewhere we couldn't find it, because he knew if we threw it out there he would not be able to resist going and getting it again.
Max loved to go rollerblading with me.  When I would get ready to go he would get so excited to go with us.
So I would leash him to the stroller and he would help me pull the kids along.

Max was a goer. He never stopped enjoying fun.  He loved to Hike, Swim, Rollerblade, Fetch, and Play.

I will always remember
how much love one little boy had for his dog.

I am having a hard time believing he is not with us.
Maximus,
you trully were THE GREATEST and we will miss you.
I will always remember you.
