More Canyon Fun!!

Cortney and her two kids, Ty and Tanzynn, came up the canyon with us for a day. We are so glad we have them for our friends. They are so much fun to be around.

The beginnings of a water fight!!
Kaitlyn- Soppin' Wet. But still so happy!!
Bridger was the only one that was not wet. He was to busy fishing to get involved in the water fight. Who do you think he takes after?
Caroline, filling up her bottle one capful at a time. She didn't end up getting to wet either. This process took up way to much of her time.
Caroline and Cortney. Cortney is one of my very best friends. She is so great and teaches me a lot about being patient with my little ones and taking time for the things that matter most. I don't know what I would do without her. Caroline is putting daisies in a tiny zip lock baggie. When she got it all full she threw it in the river. I got after her, and she just smiled and said, " I am sending somebody my flowers, Mom." How can you get mad at that?
Ty loved to fish too! I think we need to invest in about a dozen of those little poles. They are such a great toy to have around.
Tanzyn found a new friend. The dog belongs to the neighbor, his name was Cider. He hung out with Tanzyn for about an hour fetching sticks and even rocks.

I had to post this pic, because it shows off Bridger's new hair cut. Ryan talked Bridger into getting a fohawk for the summer. I wasn't too excited about it, but it ended up looking so cute on him it has started to grow on me. The funny thing is, Ryan told Bridger if he would do it, Ryan would get one too! So yes, my 30 year old husband has a fohawk too! I think he is going through a mini pre-mid life crisis. If getting a fohawk is all he does though, I guess I can't complain. I have been trying to get these two boys to pose for a picture together. When I get one I will have to post it.
Ryan, Grandpa, and Caroline relaxing by the river.

Kaitlyn and her new cousin, Shaylee.

Kaitlyn loves Shaylee. We have a hard time letting her go home with Machelle and Kevin when they come to visit. We would like to steal her, at least until our little one comes.

Kaitlyn's new Hair Cut.

Kaitlyn finally got her wish. She has been wanting to cute her hair like this for over a year. Now that ballet is over and we don't have to put it up in buns anymore we decided that is was time.
It looks so cute.

Boating with the Anderson's

Our friends, Adam & Amy, invited us to go boating with them on the 5th of July. It was a blast!!

Adam on the tube with the kids. They had a lot of fun as long as the boat went really slow. Towards the end of the day, they went again, but the front was heavy and as the boat started to go the tube went under and the kids went overboard. After that we had a hard time getting them to go again, but they sure had fun while it lasted.
Adam and Ryan. Amy tried to knock them off the tube. It was funny, they were holding on so tight all you could see were their legs flapping in the wind.
Ryan tring a little wakeboard action.
This is Adam. He can do flips and all sorts of funky jumps on the wakeboard. Here are a few pics of his tricks.

Oops, I took this one to late. When I saw it I had to laugh though. Don't be mad at me, Amy. You still look good, even falling.
Bridger enjoying the ride.
This is Amy and Adam's little cutie. Isn't she adorable?

FireWorks!!!

Kaitlyn brought her camera, she thought it would be a good idea to blog the firework show. Great idea, Kait.

Pleasant Grove puts on a good show. Thanks for the pics Kaitlyn.

Provo Canyon on the 4th of July

We decided to spend the 4th of July up the canyon at my grandpa's property. This is one of our most favorite places in the whole world. We love to fish, have hot dogs and smores, visit with the family, float the river, and just relax.

My cutie pie, posing for the camera. I loved both of these pics, so much I just had to post both of them.

Bridger, asking me if we could go home and get our tent and sleep over. We decided to go home for fireworks, but I promised him we would sleep over sometime this summer. I am thinking that being in my 8th month pregnancy and sleeping in a tent will not be the funnest thing in the world. The things you will do for you kids, right?

Doesn't Ryan look cute out there with his little Tazmanian Devil fishing pole. I'm glad he didn't catch anything. It might have pulled him right in.

Caroline giving fishing a try.
Grandpa had fishing poles for all of them. He always thinks of something fun for the kids. He is such a great Grandpa. They spent hours casting and reeling in. My beautiful little girl. (Look close: Kaitlyn lost her first tooth about a month ago. I cried like a baby. My little girl is growing up.

Festival of the Balloons

On July 3rd, the kids and I got up at 5:30am, got some donuts and chocolate milk at Macey's and headed down to watch the balloons lift off in Provo.

The Kids standing in front of the Smokey the Bear Balloon.

If you haven't watch them blow up a hot air balloon, it is pretty cool, especially when you are standing really close to them. They are huge.
A few pics of the kids watching the balloons go up. They look so cute watching them.

The kids enjoying thier donuts and chocolate milk on our blanket.

Swim Lessons

Caroline doing her ice cream scoop arms.
This was her first official swim under the water. What a show off!!

Kaitlyn doing her kicks.
Way to go Kaitlyn. She doesn't like to put her head under the water when she swims, but she is a good sport, because she knows doing it will only make her swim better and faster.
What a cutie.

Bridger doing his kicks.
And here is my little fish. He is such a great little swimmer. He holds his breath longer than his teacher can underwater. Everytime I watch him, I am amazed at how easy swimming comes to him. Good Job, Dude.
