One of our favorite things to do....

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I and a few of our friends decided to take the kids biking up the canyon.
We decided to take the opportunity to teach the kids some bike safety and patients. Bridger is a competitor- He likes to always be first, so it was good for him to have to stay with everyone and learn that sometimes the best bike riders are the ones that can go slow and keep their balance.

Even Carter loves going for a bike ride. He has such a cute little mug.

This is the whole group. Darin, Shy and Beck are up front. Cortney, me and Carter are in the back and Cortney, mine, and a couple of Cortney's friends kids are scattered throughout.

This is Cortney's little girl, Tanzynn. What a Cutie!!!
She loves to create things and play with just about every living thing- Including stinky, slimy slugs and snails. Yuck!!

My little guy looks all grown up in this picture.

Ty is the hardest working little guy I know. He is quite the sweetie too! Cortney has some very good kids- She is a great Mommy!

I love getting hugs and loves. One of the great benefits to being a Mom.

Here is most of the convoy, with the exception of me, Shy, Caroline and the babies. We had the kids all stay in a straight line, each taking turns being the leader. That way no one collided with the bikers going in the opposite direction and the kids all learned to stick together. It worked out really well- Otherwise with 7 little kids on bikes it would have been mass confusion.

Beck and Darin.

We stopped at the park and had some lunch and played on the playground for a little while before we headed back down the canyon.

What a lucky Mommy!! I love these kids so much.

Darin, Beck, and Shianne. Shy is my rollerblading buddy. We try and go 2-3 times a week.
I am so glad that she likes to go- Its always funner to exercise with friends.

Here are all the little bike riders, yup! even Caroline rode (she traded off between riding her bike and riding in the back of the bike trailer, but for only being 4, she did a great job). I was so proud of them- They followed directions really well and did great and we made it back without a single catastrophy.

Bike Ride to the Park

I am so glad the kids are getting old enough that we can all go for a bike ride together. We packed a lunch a headed to a park about 2 miles away from our house. They all did such a great job and we had a really fun time.

Carter liked sitting on the grass playing with my sunglasses the best. Other than that, he just slept in the chair on the back of my bike.

We sat under a tree that had a swing on it and we all took turns playing on it. Even I couldn't resist the call of the tree swing. I love being with my kids. I turn into a bit of a kid myself.

We played until we saw the storm come in then we decided we had better go home.

Happy Birthday, Caroline!

My Beautiful Caroline is 4 today.

I wish I could stop time and let you stay this way for a while. You definitely keep me on the go, but I am not ready for you to get any bigger.

Caroline,
I love your energy. ( I only wish I could keep up)
I love your enthusiasm for life.
I love your style and personality
I love your cute little voice and all the fun things you say.
I love that I can squirt you with water and it makes you laugh and want to play.
I love the joy I see in your eyes
I love your little laughs and giggles.
I love you.

Bridger and Caroline's Family BBQ

This is Caroline's birthday cake. I was thinking of Caroline's fun personality and this is what I came up with........

Bridger stated playing T-ball this year, so I thought it was a good idea to make him a Mitt and baseball cake.

For Bridger and Caroline's Birthday this year we invited Mine and Ryan's family over for a BBQ.
It was a lot of fun. We love to find excuses to get every one together.

Caroline decided she wanted her whole Birthday cake to herself. She started with sticking her fingers in the frosting and it ended in this......................................
Do you think it stopped here?

Nope.

She did this quite a bit. What a character.

I was to tired to try and stop her, so I just grabbed my camera and started taking pictures.

What a funny little girl.

Marisa was jumping from the swings, so I asked her to let me take a picture of her. Look at what perfect form she has.

Bridger liked this picture, he said it makes him look like he has long green hair.
